Boulder Waldorf Kindergarten

We are delighted to set our table in the grassy schoolyard of the Boulder Waldorf Kindergarten—in view of the hen house, goat stable, and lovely gardens—and to prepare a farm dinner using the vegetables, eggs and cheeses that the children themselves tend to and make day after day.

August 13 Friday $90

The Boulder Waldorf Kindergarten is situated on a beautiful 2-acre biodynamic farm in north Boulder. It was founded in 1999 by Seana Grady and David Snow to "encourage each child's lifelong love of learning, to foster a keen interest in all that he or she encounters, and to inspire reverence for all humanity and the world of nature."

The farm at Boulder Waldorf Kindergarten started with the inception of the school and has continued to grow with egg-laying hens, baby goats, and a vibrant garden. Through their everyday work on the farm—collecting eggs, milking goats, working in the organic garden—children learn to follow and observe natural rhythms and cycles. The children even help make goat cheese and prepare meals from the farm's eggs, dairy, and the produce that they helped grow and harvest. We are excited to share in the bounty of their harvest.
